Helicobacter pylori strain B29 is a Gram-negative, microaerophilic bacterium characterized by its spirilla shape and the presence of flagella, enabling motility. It exists predominantly in a host-associated habitat and exhibits a free-living biotic relationship. This strain is mesophilic, with an optimal growth temperature of 37°C, and it possesses a single replicon and two membranes. H. pylori strain B29 is notably pathogenic to humans and has been linked to a range of gastrointestinal diseases.
